We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Trailers
So I'm probably way behind the curve on this one, but this looks intriguing:

Re: Trailers
You're probably not going to believe this, but I've heard there are some non-Apple smartphones, tablets, and laptops on the market.

Re: Trailers
You'd think the ghost of Jobs would haunt the non-Apple products. You know, help cement his legacy.

Re: Trailers
That has to be THE MOST ORIGINAL MOVIE MADE IN THE LAST ONE-HUNDRED YEARS.
Not that I require originality. Well-shot action, solid performances, and not-too-cringe-worthy dialog will usually do it for me. Can't go around expecting originality. Expectations are premeditated resentments, after all.

Re: Trailers
I took a look at the other roles this Luke Bracey kid had lined up. I think they're pushing for him to be the next generic action type the same way they pushed Sam Worthington and Garrett Hedlund. I hope it doesn't ruin his career.

They managed to make Mad Max all Snyder-y and dull.

Re: Trailers
It's based on the Hellblazer comics. There was a movie several years back with Keanu Reeves - which, other than Tilda Swinton, had several problems.
I really hope it's good. NBC seems to be willing to take more risks lately. They're betting on Hannibal despite it's lack of viewership & award noms (wtf Hollywood?). Then again, they did find success with Grimm and I suppose one could consider Constantine a much edgier version of Grimm.
The comics are pretty dark and I don't know how far NBC will sink their teeth into that... then again, they pretty much let Bryan Fuller do whatever he wants on Hannibal.

Re: Trailers
Constantine looks really good. I know very little about the character except for him and Zatanna hooking up and that i'm one of the few who liked the movie. I admit my lack of exposure to the comic might be why I liked the movie, also my love of Keanu, also it felt like a "Nightside" movie (anyone read those? The epitome of fun trash).
The fall looks to hold much DC watching for me.
Is "Mad max: Fury Road" a remake or a continuation? The trailer looks like the tanker chase from "Mad max."

Re: Trailers
Damn it. I guess I still care about this franchise. I was expecting to watch the trailer and not give a shit.
The thought of the raptors being on "our" side is cool in a T-800 in T2 sort of way.
