In this case, of course, "confederate" should be pronounced like the verb form. The Swollen Goiter of God wrote:Current Annoyance

Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

That would be very amusing but given the Social Media preponderance to fail to understand when something is a joke and react with a mob like rage of digital pitchforks and flaming torches I feel Jubbers is right and is just watching your back.

No! No, no, not six! I said seven. Nobody's comin' up with six. Who works out in six minutes? You won't even get your heart goin'. Not even a mouse on a wheel!

The Gay chapter of UKIP were banned, by the organisers, of attending this years London Pride rally. Perfect, absolutely perfect.

Current Annoyance:
I missed a spot while shaving this morning. It's that sneaky spot where the jawline meets the neck.
This might just destroy my day.

You have to go to a town populated with fewer than 12,000 souls to find one of those.

Au contraire, it would serve to obscure the chin. Much as my beard does a good job of drawing attention away from the sharply angled proboscis jutting out from my face. The Swollen Goiter of God wrote:Doesn't Adam's chin stick out enough as it is?

My chin's a sticker-outer.
I don't like my face. I also don't like to shave. this leads to occasional bearding.

On the other hand, I like his face very much. This leads to occasional debearding.

I got pretty beer-ed last night. Met a cute blonde lady too.
That probably belongs in the non-annoyances thread.

Internal air travel in developing countries. Timetables appear to be merely a suggestion. And who serves soup at an airport in the tropics dammit???

You should have been with us last night as we waited for a spot on Ferris wheel. You would have been driven mad with frustration. It took us a while to figure out where the end of it was. It snaked around a couple times, and it was right next to the funnel cake line. There was no discernible line on first approach. It just looked like a big lump of people.
