I wonder whether Daria was directly referencing The Simpsons or whether that's just a popular pattern for muumuus.

(Her house looks vaguely like the Simpsons' house, too.)

I'm against Daylight Savings Time, because there's a period of a few weeks where when I'm driving to work and the sun is stabbing directly into my eyes (sunglasses barely help). We finally get past it, then voila!, Daylight Savings Time! It's sun eye-stabbing time again!
