Forum and In-Joke Guide
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
I should warn you that if your intention is to wait until there are mere seconds left of 2018 before making a final post just to secure the year's final post... you will almost certainly not be facing any competition from me.
Just to clarify, the above was not meant as a taunt, and it was not meant to suggest that I will be doing the opposite of what I say I will be doing. I will very much not be sitting by my computer and hitting refresh as the year's last seconds tick down.

I'm a bit disappointed that Scotia didn't insist on claiming the final post of 2018.

Site update:
SSL Certification now active, so Chrome will no longer scream that this place is not secure.

Well thats good news. Although, the sense of danger always did it for me. Knowing that I wasn't secure...what can I say? It was a thrill.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
We had a massive spam/malware attack that seems to have started around February 5th. I've cleaned it up - deleted all of the spam posts, deleted the spam users, etc. - and I've disabled new user registration for the time being. If there is someone you want to invite to the forums, let me or Goiter know.
I also updated the boards,
panicked because everything was completely broken (completely blank everything!), and then managed through a remerging of various versions of files to fix the update.
I also updated the boards,

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
Website was down from 1am this morning. Webhost auto-made-changes to our site's htaccess file and decided to redirect us to a no-longer-used directory. And took away the auto-redirect for going to the site without the initial www.
Fixed now (if you are reading this).

And here I was thinking Jubbers had finally pulled the plug and was filled with genuine sadness. Thank you for fixing it!

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
Fun fact - this site is blocked at work for being a "Games" site.
New webhost up and the URLs pointing to that. Will keep some overlap with old and new webhosts for a week, and then I'll cancel the old webhost.
Should have fewer issues (like our htaccess one) and will cost about half the price per year!

Site should now be pulling from new webhost. I will keep the old webhost going for another week just in case, but plan on canceling it then.
Hopefully we will have fewer issues now, and the new host is going to be costing me half as much as the old. Wins all around.
